art blog. computer art. digital media. online gallery. "from the surreal to the spiritual" by digital artist Steven Streight.
Nice piece, I like it very much.
Thank you for saying that, Grijsz. This is a silver version of one of my earliest digital art pieces, a copper color work entitled Obverse Impressionista, if I remember correctly. This is "accidental" art, just experimenting with "sculpture" filter and other tools. When it was done, it looked like angels fighting. The dots looked like heads. So I now call this silver version "silver angel combat".A lucky event, not planned. Would make a nice music CD cover maybe.
ear StevenWhat programs do you use to alter photos or create these peices??
MaryBeth: I use Paint Shop Pro 7. When I bought my emachines computer, Best Buy included it for only $15.00.Most people seem to use Adobe Photo Shop, but then their art all looks the same to me, they're all using the same effects. In music, art, everything, I believe in making inexpensive items perform as well or better than the more pricey items.
